This rare Glenfiddich Private Vintage has been specially selected for its exceptional quality and character. Bottled straight from a single cask, this Glenfiddich has a purity of taste that is unique and repeatable. From Cask No. 22725 which has lain undisturbed since 1977. 

Nose: This rare Glenfiddich has matured in a traditional American oak hogshead cask for over thirty years and has an elegant, refined aroma. A beautiful combination of rich, creamy vanilla and fruity citrus spice with just a hint of oak. 

Taste: Very sweet, butterscotch, butter toffee and soft heather honey. After a few minutes a rich fruity character develops with distinct marmalade, candied orange and zesty citrus notes. Delicate spice (cinnamon, nutmeg) comes through on the finish. 

Aftertaste: Long, lingering and very sweet.
