El Enemigo is produced in the foothills of the Andes Mountains at Piedemonte al Sur, of Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. The winemaker, Alejandro Vigil, is also the Chief Winemaker at Bodega Catena Zapata and the former head of the soil division at Argentina’s Wine Institute. A tight and beautiful expression of Chardonnay.  A dense palate of ripe tropical fruit, lemon curd and fresh apple. Layered and refined with phenolic tension. Satisfying and complex layers of fruit, yeasty notes, hints of spice and vanillin from oak.
