Dusty, savoury, classic Italian red wine with aromas of lovely tart black cherries, cedar smoke, violets. Nicely integrated nuances of oak and vanillin. On the palate, it is dry, harmonious, and fruity with a velvety, elegant texture and a long finish. 

Traditionally, this wine is paired with wild boar, but a great accompaniment for any game, meat or beef - especially prime rib! Also great with aged cheeses. This robust red has a good grip on the palate so decant for 1-2 hours then enjoy.
