If you are going to make an aromatic white wine with everything but the kitchen sink, its first duty is to be clean and fresh. Honest John's has done that and added an extra level of minerality and aromatics to give this wine life. Floral, citrus, nectarine notes spill from the nose to the palate, and finish medium-long but clean, with enough acidity to make it food friendly. A patio pleaser for summer salads, fish cakes or a charcuterie board. Good value. Anthony Gismondi
