This jewel of the classic Bordeaux grape varieties has the  substance and the aromatic definition of the wines of this famous French region.  Perfect with a 5-star meal featuring either beef tenderloin or a steak of venison. 

Merlot dominant, with plush black cherries, and blackberries, on a velvet palate, structured via the Cabernets, and raging with chewy tannins. The fruit is very ripe and dense, with ample impact and intensity at this youthful stage, and will reward with time in the cellar. Le Grand Vin has certainly grown into its name, and is perennially one of BC's top reds!

The 2020 vintage was unique. The spring was cool and wet, with bud break slightly later than previous vintages. Spring gave way to a warm and dry July, August, and September. The long, warm autumn helped the crop ripen perfectly under acid-retaining cool nights.  The vintage comes with denser, sweeter, more refined tannins contributing to a longer, fuller life in the bottle. Power meets elegance in 2020 with black fruit, cedar, toasted oak, and a dusting of savoury south Okanagan sagebrush. No rush here. Buy and cellar through 2027.
