When the temperature starts to dip in the fall, I prefer a scotch with dry fruit notes on the finish. The colder it gets, the longer I want the finish to be. Scotches finished in Sherry casks have a much longer finish than scotches finished in Bourbon casks, and the longer the scotch was in the sherry cask, the longer the finish.
Don’t shop by age, price, or region – find a taste you enjoy, and try to find a scotch that fits in that flavour profile. If you've found a distillery that produces a scotch that you love, trust them! You’ll enjoy other scotches from them too.
We have a great selection of scotches for every price range – we’re here to help you pick a scotch that will be opened and enjoyed. Come see Evan or myself, we'll point you in the right direction!
