The 12 Year Old is the entry bottling to Bowmore's Sherry Oak Cask series, a collection of whiskies matured and finished in Oloroso sherry casks, with some maturation also occurring in ex-bourbon barrels.
This 12-year-old single malt Scotch whisky was aged in oloroso sherry and bourbon casks, with an oloroso sherry-seasoned cask finish. Expect classic smouldering smokiness to meet sweet spice, nuttiness, and dried fruit.

Nose
Vanilla caramel, red berries, marzipan, icing sugar and hints of dried fruit.
Palate
Ripe pears, lemon juice, cinnamon, toasted almonds and peaches in syrup with increasing levels of smoke.
