Traditionally produced from a blend of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio, Etna Rosso Ottava Isola is the Etna territory in a nutshell: volcanic warmth and freshness, sea and mountains, sun and snow. Ruby red in colour with garnet-coloured highlights, like the lava and magma expelled from the volcano that makes the earth so fertile, Etna Rosso Ottava Isola is an extremely vibrant wine. It has an intense aroma with hints of vanilla, ripe fruit and tobacco; its flavour is elegant, harmonious, lingering and tannic to just the right degree.
