In the 1960s George Urquhart, one of the first of four generations of the Urquhart family to shape the future of Gordon & MacPhail, pioneered a range of single malt Scotch whiskies, which he selected, matured, and bottled. The 'Connoisseurs Choice' collection brings together rare and sought after single malts from some of Scotland’s longest established distilleries. The collection of whiskies in the 'Connoisseurs Choice' range is constantly evolving, aiming always to highlight the unique characteristics of the individual distilleries.

This 1998 Glenrothes single malt from Speyside is bottled at 54.7% ABV. Zesty orange and desiccated coconut aromas lead to milk chocolate and marshmallow. Honeycomb flavours, that combine with sweet tropical fruit and lemon. A full and spicy finish with herbal notes.
