Murviedro Sericis Cepas Viejas Bobal is a complex, low-yielding, old vine 100% Bobal from eastern Spain. This indigenous grape variety is gaining increasing recognition for its vibrant, characterful style. The name Sericis pays homage to the silk trade, which was once central to the economy of Requena.

This 2020 Bobal has ripe aromas of dark fruits layered with subtle spice. The palate is bold yet balanced, offering juicy plum and bramble fruit alongside toasty oak complexity. Chunky in texture, with finely woven tannins and plenty of fruit intensity, giving both power and harmony.
