This blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet was first produced in 1997. The three varieties are aged separately in small French and American oak casks for approximately 12 months before blending and bottling. Intensely alluring on the nose, with a complex interplay of blackberry and mature floral notes that transition into spicy undertones of cinnamon and cloves. On the palate, plum flavors with balsamic hints, soft tannins, and impressive structure.

Blend: 46% Merlot, 31% Sangiovese, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon
