Château Mareil is a Bordeaux estate in the Médoc, on the celebrated Left Bank. The Médoc has a long reputation for producing structured red wines capable of developing considerable complexity with bottle age, with Cabernet and Merlot playing central roles in the region's traditional blends.

Generous aromas of cassis, blackberry and ripe plum lead into classic Médoc notes of cedar, dried herbs and gentle spice. The palate combines concentrated dark fruit with structured yet increasingly supple tannins, while fresh acidity prevents the warmer-vintage richness from becoming heavy. Subtle tobacco, graphite and savoury notes emerge as the wine opens, leading to a persistent, balanced finish.  Winemaker Notes
