The wine and beverage industry can be intimidating for some, but not Sam! Her enthusiastic interest in all things wine, beer and spirits has kept her busy with educating herself through study, accredited courses, and of course hands-on experience.  Sam takes pride in finding that perfect bottle for her customers who she recognizes all have different palates and perceive wines differently.  After delivering exceptional customer service, her favorite part of working here is the events.  “There is always something great going on at Willow Park.  It’s a great way to try what’s available on the shelves.” 

One of Sam’s highlights over the last few years was her trip to Napa, California.  “Seeing the morning fog roll in and really realizing how all the little things effect the terroir of the land was an amazing learning experience.  You really get to see how much work goes into a bottle of wine when you tour wineries.  Highly recommend checking out this wine region!” Sam struggles to narrow down her favourite libations, but loves high minerality white wines, deep, aromatic red wines and is also a big fan of craft beers with a recent liking to scotches and cocktails.  “I always love bringing a new bottle to share with friends.  This is how I can learn how different people react to it and it helps me excel at what I do.”
