Born in Switzerland, Chef Max began his culinary career at the age of 16. Since then, his journey has taken him through some of Canada's most respected kitchens, including the Four Seasons, Shaw Conference Centre, the 400 Club, Calgary Winter Club, the Hyatt, the Westin and even a luxury cruise liner. With experience spanning from Lake Geneva to the Caribbean to Calgary, Max now leads the Willow Park Wines & Spirits kitchen team and brings a delicious lineup of new flavours and styles to enhance every tasting experience.
Today, Max leads the Willow Park Wines & Spirits kitchen team with creativity and a passion for flavour, helping elevate every tasting experience with fresh ideas and memorable pairings. Outside of the store, he’s also the proud owner of Good Fillin’, where he serves up handcrafted empanadas.
