Bordeaux Futures Pre-Sale - Pomerol

Item Ships: Sep 30, 2019

With its silky, elegant and discreet wine, which expresses a just maturity in a pure and precise fruit, the Château Gazin is one of the most qualitative properties of Pomerol. It must be said that the vintage benefits from a remarkable terroir of gravel and clay on the plateau of the appellation, 26 hectares of a single piece essentially planted with merlot (90%) with a complement of Cabernet Sauvignon 7%) and Cabernet Franc.
Nicolas and Christophe de Bailliencourt called Courcol assured the management of the family property, acquired by their great-grandfather at the beginning of the 20th century.

Other Notes
L’Hospitalet de Gazin is the second wine of Pétrus’ neighbour, Château Gazin. Gazin is a large estate, at twenty-four hectares, housing varied parcels and different terroirs – not all on the plateau. L’Hospitalet de Gazin is selected from cuvées which provide an accessible, approachable and elegant style.
