Chateau Le Boscq 2017 - Bordeaux Futures
The 2017 Le Boscq has an impressive bouquet with plenty of blackberry, raspberry and smoke aromas that are detailed and neatly integrated with the oak. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, well judged acidity, nicely balanced with a fresh and sophisticated finish. This is a Saint-Estèphe that performed extremely well in 2017 and perchance is one of its hidden gems.
93 Points Wine Advocate
From a blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (64%), and complemented by Merlot (34%) and Petit Verdot (2%), the Château Le Boscq 2017 offers a fine Saint-Estèphe experience that will seduce with its finesse and assert its own identity
Dry tannins balance the fine blackberry flavor that is cut by intense acidity. It is certainly fruity but does also have the structure of a Saint-Estèphe. This is a dense wine for aging. Drink from 2024.
