Aromas of plum, a hint of cranberry, blueberry and lovely floral notes. As well as spice notes with a hint of vanilla. This wine tastes even better than it smells with tons of fresh dark fruit imbued with spice and coffee notes all wrapped up in a smooth and velvety texture. A great combination of grapes with the Cabernet Franc adding a great earthy dimension to the fruit from the Malbec. The coffee and spice notes come to the front on the earthy finish that features more dark, juicy fruit and even some mineral notes.
70% Malbec and 30% Cabernet Franc from the Uco Valley, Mendoza Argentina. The Santa Julia Reserva Mountain Blend spends 10 months in French oak barrels and has a residual sugar of 2.5g/L.
