Quite a dark and mellow wine with generous dry tannins and plenty of concentration.

The 2014 Poujeaux is an absolutely joyous wine. Plump, juicy and flavourful, it possesses striking depth. Dark stone fruit, spice, leather and tobacco give the wine an attractive savoury profile. The 2014 could use a bit of time in bottle to settle down, but it is very nicely done.

Deep crimson. Attractive, almost Margaux-like perfume. Real polish with vigour and fruit on the mid palate. Massive energy and persistence. Well done.
