92 Points, James Suckling
"Extremely perfumed with flower and crushed-berry character. Hints of chocolate. Medium to full body, firm and silky tannins and savoury acidity. Juicy and fresh. Almost Burgundian in texture. So approachable but better in 2021.”
Ripe berry fruits give this wine its richness. There is a strong acidity as well that cuts through the wine leaving a stalky tight young fruitiness. Floral, red fruits, smooth palate, broad, smooth tannin, quite rich and fresh with a long finish. Let the wine soften and drink from 2020.
Harvested between 6 and 13 October, fragrant, fresh, slender, with a floral character well ahead that is already freed from taking wood. A vintage dish of a beautiful classicism, fruit available, alert, natural.
