Domaine Jacques Prieur Echezeaux Grand Cru 2011
93 Points Wine Spectator
The vintage Echézeaux Grand Cru 2011 from the Domaine Jacques Prieur is a 100% Pinot Noir from the Champs Traversins in the heart of the historic Echézeaux. This vintage is very precocious, solar with berries of a beautiful maturity. Being aged for 19 months in new oak barrels, the wine enhances further complexity on the nose and palate.
The lovely ruby-red dress with purple highlights precedes a subtle nose with soft fruit, tobacco, leather and nutmeg. The aromatic bouquet is pure and complex with a lovely evolution. The palate is defined and juicy, rich with pure and fleshy fruit. The finish is long and delicious with refined, smooth tannins.Liquid error (line 95): Could not find asset snippets/products.custom_fields.liquid
