Full meaty and robust fruit in the Du Glana style; showing off the St-Julien terroir well. Good tannins for the future." 88 Points - Steven Spurrier, Decanter
The 59 hectare Left Bank vineyard of Chateau du Glana is located not far Chateau Lagrange . The Saint Julien vineyard is planted to 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot . This marked a change in the vineyard cepage for the estate, as 5% of the vineyard was previously planted with Cabernet Franc .
60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot
The assembly of this vintage is made of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. These are very fresh, both dense and coated. The Cabernet Sauvignon are just beautiful, a great elegance and very subtle. "Julien & Ludovic Meffre
