Wine Enthusiast: This is a perfumed wine, finely balanced and with fine acidity. With the juicy freshness, it leaps from the glass with black currant and blackberry fruits. It is an open wine that will develop easily and quickly. 89 -91 Points
Château Teyssier is a St Emilion Grand Cru located in Vignonet, one of five St Emilion communes. The property has a long history of wine production, going back as far as 1714 when it was little more than a farm. In 1869 the property was purchased by the historian Jules Roy, who constructed a grand Château and developed the surrounding vineyards. From then on little had changed until Jonathan and Lyn Maltus purchased the property in 1994.
