Michael is part of the Willow Park Wines & Spirits family not only as a valued team member but also as the youngest son of the Henuset Family who owns the business. He considers himself very lucky to be able to work with his family and thinks of the whole team and customers his friends, which is one of his favorite aspects of his career that started over 14 years ago. Michael has helped the business in many ways over the years and is intrigued by the competition and growing selection that naturally occurs in this industry. “It amazes me how each product varies from one another, all with the same goal to satisfy a consumer’s drink of choice.”
One of the events that Michael enjoys the most is the Charity Auction Week Beer Bash which features beers from all over the world and most importantly to him, raises money for various charities through the Vintage Fund. Michael has learned a lot from his educational trips to Australia, Belgium, France and Germany, among others, where he’s learned to appreciate lots of different types of products and meet fascinating people. He has learned that for him, nothing satisfies his sweet tooth like a sour beer or a sweet French wine.
