TEQUILA CHICKEN

Perfect for Cinco de Mayo Pairing!

Marinate 3 to 4 lbs. of Chicken pieces in the following:

What You'll Need:

½ cup of lime juice

• ½ cup chopped cilantro

• 2 TB chopped garlic

• ¼ cup chopped jalapeno

• ½ cup olive oil
• 1 TB Chile powder

• 1 TB Chile flakes, sweet or spicy depending on preference

• 1 TB cumin, ground

• 1 TB oregano, dried

DIRECTIONS:

1. Marinade for at least 4 hours and up to 24. Grill over a medium grill, 20 mins for breast and 40 mins for thighs.

2. Serve with your favourite salsa or homemade Pico de Gallo (chunky salsa).

 

Pair with your favourite tequila cocktail or chilled white wine or beer.
