Upcoming Bruichladdich Master Class

Back by popular demand, Willow Park Wines & Spirits will be hosting legendary distiller Jim McEwan for two evening events of tasting and education.

With decades of experience, Master Distiller Jim McEwan takes whisky knowledge to another level. Reviewed as "the most well-known figure in Islay whisky", Jim's presence is well anticipated for this evening of education and entertainment.

With over 50 years in the whisky business, Jim describes the last 12 years with Bruichladdich as 'a roller-coaster ride' as he watches the progress they have made and the friends they have gained, as the most wonderful experience. To bring this old distillery back from the dead to become "Distillery of the Year" three times, Innovator of the Year four times, plus a host of other awards from around the world, and for Bruichladdich to become the cult figure it is while employing so many good Islay people, is Jim's greatest reward.

With Bruichladdich now under the leadership of Remy Cointreau, Jim sees a bright future for the team on Islay and will continue "Working on a Dream' - chasing Single Malt Rainbows in search of the Perfect Dram.

You have two options if you'd like to attend the Barley to Bottle Bruichladdich Master Class:

Tickets to this event are $25 and available through our website (just click on the date you wish to attend above) or in-store.
