The Gérard Bertrand An1152 Cahors comes from the South-west of France where winds, sun, and people have shaped the landscapes since the dawn of time. The year 1152, marked a historic union between France and England where  Henry Plantagenet, future king of England, opened the doors of London to the whole world.

Dark red in color with purple-blue hues, this wine features an intense nose with notes of dark berries and violet. Structured with silky tannins, this vintage has a nice roundness and a finish with notes of blackcurrant and licorice. 100% Malbec.

90 Points - Decanter

Stewed plum compote, leather and vanilla bean aromas with creamy notes. Smooth on the palate, with assertive tannins. Brambly finish.
