Sparkling wine might just be the most complex style of all the wines, and it is hands down our favourite to drink! At this week’s TasteDay Thursday Virtual Tasting, Trusted Expert Michael Bigattini will be taking you on a tour of the effervescent world of bubbles! You’ll dive into what really makes them pop while revealing the different methods and regional styles of Italian prosecco, Italian Metodo Classico, and Spanish Cava.

Drusian Cartizze

The colour is pale straw yellow with golden hues. Green apple and floral notes combine with a cream texture on the palate.

CVNE Cava Brut

Fresh and young, this wine shows a wonderful fruity bouquet with slight hints of yeast. Very fresh in mouth with a light sweetness that persists through the finish.

Ferrari Brut

The nose is fresh and intense with a note of ripe Golden Delicious apples and wildflowers, underpinned by a delicate scent of toast. The palate is well-balanced, with flavours of ripe fruit and notes of crusty bread.

A glass placement sheet will be provided for each participant (please indicate in order notes during checkout how many you placement sheets you would like)
