Popcorn recipes from our Popcorn Pairing event


​A huge thank you to everyone who attended the Popcorn Pairing Perfection event last night - we had a great time, and we hope you did too!

Below are recipes for two of the popcorn flavours we had last night, as well as the sparkling wines they were paired with - we hope you'll give them a try at home.

Bacon, Truffle and Parmesan Popcorn - We paired this popcorn with Laetitia Brut Rosé 


  • 4 cups of air popped popcorn
  • 6 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1.5 cups of shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Drizzle of truffle oil


  1. Cook bacon - cool, then crumble in to small pieces.
  2. Add bacon, Parmesan cheese and truffle oil in layers in to the hot popcorn.
  3. Shake well and serve.

Tropical Popcorn - We paired this popcorn with Moscato d'Asti.


  • 4 cups of air popped popcorn
  • 1 cup of white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup of dried apricots - diced in to small pieces
  • 1 cup of toasted coconut (coconut flakes or coconut shavings)


  1. Melt half of the white chocolate chips - if melting in the microwave, reduce the power to 50% (or medium), and microwave for 30 seconds. Stir the chocolate to get all the pieces to melt. Do not overheat the white chocolate!
  2. Drizzle the melted white chocolate on to the popcorn in layers, and shake through.
  3. Add in the rest of the chocolate chips, dried apricot pieces and toasted coconut, while popcorn is still hot.
  4. Shake or stir well.
  5. Divide in to small bowls and serve.
